FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found it to be misleading.

We found multiple reports stating that Telangana government has made face masks mandatory and has imposed restrictions on religious events to curb the virus. The reports can be seen here, here and here.

However, we found that the picture being circulated is from 2020.

We ran a keyword search and found that the picture of the same challan was shared in 2020. The Facebook posts can be seen here and here.

After examining the picture carefully, we noticed that the challan number in both the pictures are the same. We also noticed that the date from the original challan has been edited and is being passed off as a recent challan.

Hence, from the above fact check, we can conclude that the post is misleading.
