NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be fake.
Firstly, we noticed the logo of ‘ABP News’ on the video. There appeared to be a discrepancy since this was the old logo of the channel and not what is being used now.
On putting some keywords and running a Google search, we found the video on the verified YouTube channel of ABP News dated March 22, 2020. The title of the video read, “Indian Railways Cancels All Passenger Trains Till March 31 | ABP News”
We also found various media reports from March 2020 that stated that railway services have been terminated till March 31, 2020, keeping in view the coronavirus pandemic.
It was a measure taken by the Railway Ministry in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. It was decided that all passenger trains including premium trains, mail and express trains, suburban trains, Kolkata Metro Rail, Konkan Railway, will be cancelled till March 31, 2020.
