There are supercars, then there are electric cars, but what if both are joined together? Well, a Croatian automaker Rimac made that possible as it has unveiled an electric hypercar that the company claims can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 1.85 seconds.
Called the ‘C_Two’, the car has a top speed of 412 kmph and features butterfly doors.
Uner the hood the C-Two holds a 1,914-horsepower engine that can run 650 km on a single charge and has the capacity to accommodate two passengers.
If speed isn’t your thing, Rimac says the car comes with Level 4 autonomous capabilities. The sensor suite includes eight cameras, one or two LIDAR, six radar, 12 ultrasonics, and a partridge in a pear tree. Again, Level 4 is an easy claim to make when you don’t have the immediate concern of independent verification. In other words, we’ll believe it when we see it.
