An explosion has rocked the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, on Tuesday that took place in a close proximity of US Embassy which reportedly claimed at least one life and has injured 8 others.
The blast took place at Kabul’s famous Massoud Square which houses US Embassy along with several other diplomatic building at 10:15 am local time. Interior Ministry spokesperson Najib Danish confirmed that blast happened at the entrance of Kabul Bank branch which is not far from the US Embassy.
In May, a massive bomb rocked the diplomatic quarters in Kabul which claimed the lives of more than 150 people and injured 400 others, mostly civilians.
