Music lovers may like or dislike HipHop, but the cool quotient attached to this particular genre is hard to match. Just like other musical genres, it’s hard to trace back to where it originated from, however, Google gives us a prompt idea that on this day back in 1973, DJ Kool Herc presented this art of music to the world.

DJ Kool Herc came up with this unique concept of using turntables in his backyard during school break parties, according to the tutorial presented in the doodle by graphic art of famous former host of Yo! MTV Raps, Fab 5 Freddy. The latest doodle by Google is to commemorate Kool Herc’s contribution to the music. HipHop is still one of the famous forms of music till now and some crazy dance moves would not have been possible without HipHop. The doddle is definitely one of the coolest one so far.
