In a post on VentureBeat, famed smartphone leaker, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed that the famous Moto X line is set to return to the market. The post reveals the specifications that can be expected when the Moto X4 launches later in the year.
According to the post, the Moto X4 will be the first non-Google smartphone capable of operating Google’s Fi MVNO service. The Google Fi service is a wireless service that offers users calls, texts, and data through Google’s own network. Apart from this, Moto X4 will look to offer a premium metal body for a more budget audience.
The phone will feature a dual camera module, with one camera being 8-megapixel and the other being 12-megapixel, accompanied by a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto X4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, placing it firmly in the mid-field segment. The phone will also have a full HD screen, fingerprint scanner, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage along with expandable storage. The Moto X4 will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery and will also be IP68 waterproof certified.
