Sunil Chhetri‘s recent performance against the Kyrgyz Republic proved how energetic and skilful Indian Football Captain is. He scored an exceptional goal in the recent 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifier to lead his team from the front and ensured India’s victory.

At the age of 32, Chettri looks in shape to beat even big stars of the football world in the terms of scoring International goals. With the goal against the Kyrgyzrygz Republic, Sunil Chhetri surpassed Wayne Rooney to become fourth highest goal scorer in International football with 54 goals. Now Chhetri is just behind Cristiano Ronaldo (73), Lionel Messi (58) and USA’s Clint Dempsey (56) in the list.

The Indian captain looks charged up and he is a big inspiration for the young football players in the India.
